Every year, on April 26, the world celebrates World Intellectual Property Day to educate the public about how intellectual property (IP) rights contribute to innovation and creativity.

Regional seminar "Intellectual Property in Today's World: New Challenges" took place on February 25-26, 2020 in the "Victoria Olympus" hotel (Calgary hall) in Minsk.

On February 6, 2020 Vyacheslav Trofimov, director of the “BelpatentService” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, patent attorney, participated in the meeting with the representatives of the enterprises accepted as the members of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

On December 17, the HTP business incubator hosted the seminar "SOFT&PATENT 2019 – how software is patented".

The director of the "BelpatentService" BelCCI, patent attorney Vyacheslav Trofimov, and Deputy Director Pak Evgeny Viktorovich made a speech for the audience.

On October 30, 2019 the International Seminar "SOFT&PATEN 2019" dedicated to the protection of software in the USA, EU and PRC was held in Minsk at the International Educational Center named after I.Johannes Rau. The semninar was organized by the "BelpatentService", one of the strategic objectives of which is to promote export development. 67 participants attended the seminar. 

The Director of Belpatentservice the patent attorney Vyacheslav V. Trofimov from June 17 to June 21, 2019 studied at the NCIP the educational program of the training course "Patent Information and Patent Research" in the amount of 36 training hours.

The Director of Belpatentservice, the patent attorney Vyacheslav Trofimov and his Deputy Yevgueny Pak, took part on 4-5 June 2019 in the Regional Seminar "Actual Aspects of Using Intellectual Property Rights" organized by the National Center for Intellectual Property (NCIP) under the assistance of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The Unitary enterprise of patent services “Belpatentservice” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the National Center for Intellectual Property, held the seminar on “Management of intellectual property of the Military-Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus (GVPK) for the protection of export".
