Training on the course "Professional activities of patent attorneys"
On December 9, 2020 the National Center of Intellectual Property held an online training course "Professional activity of patent attorneys" for the patent attorneys of the country.
Director of the "BelpatentService" BelCCI, patent attorney V.V. Trofimov attended the course.
The course program included the following topics:
"Novelties of the legislation and supposed changes" (Tatiana Kovalevskaya, head of legal and personnel support department).
"Review of the practice of the NCIS Appeals Board. Analysis of typical mistakes of applicants" (T.P. Tolkanitsa, head of pre-trial settlement department).
"Review of the intellectual property dispute resolution practice of the judicial board for intellectual property cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus (on the example of means of individualization). Analysis of applicants' mistakes" (judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus R.V. Kozorezova).
At the end of the event there was the round table "Topical questions of protection and usage of industrial property objects" (Ms. E. Usacheva, head of industrial property expertise department, Ms. T. Sinishova, head of trademark department, Mr. D. Andrievsky, head of department for registration and commercialization of industrial property).
The obtained additional knowledge and information will help the "BelpatentService" to more effectively defend the interests of the BelCCI members in the protection of their intellectual property rights in the pretrial and judicial procedures.
