"Professional activities of patent attorneys" course training
On April 5, 2018 the director of the UE "Belpatentservice" of the BelCCI, the patent attorney Vyacheslav V. Trofimov was trained on the training course "Professional activity of patent attorneys".
The training was organized by the Intellectual Property Training Center of the National Center of Intellectual Property and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus. The training program included the following topics:
- judicial practice on complaints against decisions on trademarks and service marks of the Appeal Board of the National Center of Intellectual Property;
- unfair competition concerning the use of means of individualization;
- clash of rights to means of individualization in the Internet (from the practice of the Judicial Collegium on Intellectual Property of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus);
-judicial protection of industrial property rights objects (practice of the Judicial Board for Intellectual Property of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus).
For reference: Patent attorneys of Belarus are allowed to represent their principals in the Judicial Collegium for intellectual property of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus.
