The Patent Attorney V. Trofimov took part in the meeting of the discussion club of the "Belbrand" Association.
On December 21, 2017 the acting Director of the UE “Belpatentservice” of the BelCCI the patent attorney Vyacheslav Trofimov took part in the meeting of the “BelBrand” Discussion Club where the issues of intellectual property protection in the context of combating the unfair competition were discussed.

The discussion took place with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Association Valentina Dynich, the Deputy Chairman of the Association Sergey Titov, the coordinator of the projects of the “BelBrand” Association Alexander Yuraga, the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on Education, Culture and Science of the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Tatiana Yakubovich, patent attorneys of the Republic of Belarus.

During the meeting, the possibility of introducing mediation as a mandatory pre-trial procedure in Belarus was discussed. The participants of the Discussion Club underlined the prospects of mediation in the field of intellectual property.
