Participation as a moderator of the conference "On approaches to protection, use and defence of intellectual property within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union" (Minsk, BelCCI - November 10, 2015)
The Acting Director of the Belpatentservice of the BelCCI, the patent attorney Vyacheslav Trofimov took part as a moderator of the conference "On the approaches of the Russian Federation to the protection, use and defence of intellectual property within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union" (Minsk, BelCCI - November 10, 2015).
The conference was organized by the Unitary Enterprise of BelCCI "Business Education Center". Deputy Chairman of the Commission on the Economics of Intellectual Property of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, General Director of the Federal Institute for Certification and Evaluation of Intellectual Property and Business (ZAO "SOIS"), Professor, Expert of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), FAPRID expert, “Skolkovo Foundation” expert, NCRI expert of the Russian Ministry of Justice Boris Leontyev.
The speaker focused on the multidisciplinarity of intellectual property, its strategic nature, the CCI's persistent initiatives to develop, the State Strategy on Intellectual Property, based on the WIPO recommendations, the participation of ZAO "SOIS" in developing such a strategy, the problems facing national innovation systems, principles of construction, goals and objectives, as well as structural elements of the Interstate Strategy of intellectual property.
The conference was attended by representatives of government authorities, including the National Center of Intellectual Property, law firms and law offices, patent attorneys and appraisers of intellectual property, interested experts of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
