The 13th Republican Contest of Innovative Projects in 2022 ends in Minsk with the awarding of the winners
On December 14, 2022, the final event of the Republican Contest of Innovative Projects of 2022 took place – the award ceremony for its winners. The event was held in a solemn atmosphere in the Seventh Heaven banquet hall of the Minsk hotel.
According to Andrei Kosovskii, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, 187 applications were submitted for participation in the competition in 2022, including 96 in the nomination "Best Innovative Project", and 91 in the nomination "Best Youth Innovative Project". Applications for participation in the competition were submitted by representatives of educational institutions, technology parks, technology transfer centers, scientific and practical centers and organizations. In each nomination 20 projects were submitted to compete for victory.
Each nomination had one winner and five awardees, namely two participants taking the second place and three participants taking the third place. All of them received awards from the Chairman of the SCNT Sergei Shlychkov. The winners and the awardees of the competition (see on the website of the SCNT https://gknt.gov.by/upload/docx/2022/Список%20%20%20%20победителей.docx) received diplomas, valuable gifts and cash prizes in the amount of 928.00 to 2752.00 rubles from the organizers. In addition, 6 projects were selected to receive funds for their commercialization in the amount of 18,272.00 rubles each.
Gleb Uselenok from the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University won in the nomination "The Best innovative project". He presented the development of validation and evaluation of the neuropsychological diagnostics software package. Daniil Huseinov was recognized as the winner in the nomination "The best youth innovative Project" for his development of an intelligent simulator for teaching the technique of ski movements.
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Unitary Enterprise of Patent Services was represented in the board of the contest by its director Vyacheslav Trofimov. He was the one to award POLYMEDTECH LLC with a diploma "For the purity of thoughts" on behalf of the Patent Services for the project of "A set of tools, implants, accessories for osteosynthesis and reconstructive surgery in the maxillofacial area".

Konchak Vladislav, the third awardee of the contest "The best youth innovative project", the author of the project "Spoonfeeder 2.0 - a device for patients with eating disorders" received a discount certificate on the maintenance service for the 2nd year of validity of the patent of the Republic of Belarus for the utility model "Device for feeding patients with the pathology of limiting the angle of mouth opening" No. 12837;
Mogilev Professional Electrotechnical College and its student Malatkov Vladislav, a participant of the contest "Best youth innovative project", the author of the project "Energy-efficient workwear" received a discount certificate on the service of filing an application for a utility model under the working title "Energy-efficient workwear".
Vyacheslav Trofimov informed the audience about the services of the Patent Services including developments patenting and conducting patent research.
Many members of the competition council proposed nominations and withing them presented certificates of honor and valuable gifts on behalf of their organizations to the projects they liked, including those that did not become winners of the competition.
