On April 21, 2022, the Republican Scientific and Technical Library hosts the 24th Republican online seminar "Relevant problems of Intellectual Property" on the topic "Intellectual property and youth: innovations for the future".
The event was timed to coincide with the celebration of the International Intellectual Property Day.
The format of the event: 9 speakers and 9 topics for discussion, more than 30 offline and more than 60 online participants
The seminar was opened by Raisa Sukhorukova, the director of the Republican Scientific and Technical Library Raisa Sukhorukova. Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Shcherbakov and Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Riabovolov also delivered welcoming speeches.
At the seminar, the director of the "Belpatentservice" Unitary Enterprise Viacheslav Trofimov made a report "Depositing of copyright objects", in which he highlighted the systems of depositing such objects existing at the Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere, in the library of the Belarusian State University, in the National Center of Intellectual Property and in the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (hereinafter BelCCI).
At the same time, the speaker focused both on the common sides of the deposit process in the National Center of Intellectual Property and the BelCCI, and on their differences.
