On November 8-19, 2021, the International Forum "Two Days of Patent Analytics" is held in Sochi on the basis of Sirius University of Science and Technology
The Belarusian delegation was represented by three specialists: Elena Usacheva, the Head of the Industrial Property Expertise Department and Alexander Mazanik, the leading specialist of the Industrial Property Expertise Department, represented the National Center of Intellectual Property, while Evgeny Pak, Deputy Director, represented the Belpatentservice Unitary Enterprise by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event was dedicated to the management of science, technology and innovation based on patent analytics.
The central event of the forum's opening day was the international online conference "Patent Analytics. The Global Thought Factory", in which reports were presented by patent analytics practitioners from different countries: Russia, Singapore, France, Japan, Germany, the USA, China and others.
The program of the forum was very rich, including two plenary sessions, 14 sections, round tables and master classes. The second day of the forum saw a number of sections and workshops dedicated to the patent analytics for business. At one of the sections of the forum, Evgeny Pak made a report on the importance of intellectual property for high-tech startups.
The key topics of discussion at the sections were the integration of patent analytics within the new digital ecosystem, the development of the patent analytics system in a number of regions of the Russian Federation, technology transfer, achievements of development companies, providers of professional information systems for patent analytics, and others.
Master classes were conducted by experts of the "Project Office" of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property, the company "LexisNexis", the Agency for Technological Development, Royal Privilege LLC, the Technopark in the field of high technologies "IT Park", Kazan. Particular attention was paid to the use of additional non-patent studies in order to obtain more comprehensive results and reduce the risks of forming incorrect or incomplete conclusions.
