Vyacheslav Trofimov, Director of Belpatentservice BelCCI, participated as an expert in pitch-session at the 31 International Medical Forum “Healthcare of Belarus”.
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, in collaboration with Technics and Communications CJSC has arranged for the creation of the “Medical Startup Alley” cluster as part of the 31 “Healthcare of Belarus” International Medical Forum, this serves as a venue for showcasing innovative healthcare startups and hosting pitch sessions.
The venue showcased 20 startup projects that were finalists in the 5 “MedicalStartup” Republic Healthcare Startup Competition and the “100 ideas for Belarus” project 2025, as well as residents of the High-tech Park of the Republic of Belarus.
Projects were presented to experts during the pitch session with authors showcasing their healthcare-related developments. The presenters received recommendations, advice and suggestions from the experts regarding the further development of their projects, as well as specific forms of assistance.
In particular, the head of Belpatentservice (BelCCI) provided the presenters of two projects “A New Step in Cancer Therapy: CAR-NK Cells” and “Orodispersible Films as Medicinal Products” with the findings of patent searches regarding the Russian Federation and the state of the art relevant to the submitted projects.
This initiative was undertaken to demonstrate to developers of new technologies the capabilities and expertise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s unitary enterprise in conducting patent research.
