The winners of the 15th Republican Innovation Projects Contest 2024 announced.
On December 17, 2024, the Director of the Unitary Enterprise "Belpatentservice" of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vyacheslav Trofimov, participated as a member of the contest council in the awards ceremony for the winners of the 15th Republican Innovation Projects Contest. The contest was organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus with the participation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian Innovation Fund, and the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union."A total of 201 applications were submitted, including 83 in the category "Best Innovation Project" and 118 in the category "Best Youth Innovation Project." Thirty-nine projects advanced to the finals, with their authors presenting to the contest council on December 5, 2024.
Following the final stage, one winner and five prize recipients were selected in each category: one project secured 1st place, two projects received 2nd place, and three projects were awarded 3rd place.
In the "Best Innovation Project" category, the winning project was "Development of Comprehensive Service Solutions for Training, Planning, and Conducting Surgical Operations Using Augmented Reality and Additive Technologies." In the "Best Youth Innovation Project" category, the winning project was "Development of a Method for Experimental Prevention of Waterhouse-Friderichsen Syndrome (Acute Adrenal Insufficiency in Generalized Inflammation)."
A special diploma "For Purity of Intentions," awarded on behalf of the Unitary Enterprise "Belpatentservice" of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was presented to LLC "ARtoMED Technology" for their project on developing comprehensive service solutions for training, planning, and conducting surgical operations using augmented reality and additive technologies. Additionally, the two contest winners were granted discount certificates for any service provided by the Unitary Enterprise "Belpatentservice" of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
